Don Walter is a Chartered Accountant and has had over 30 years general accounting, financial and corporate governance experience. Prior to commencing in practice Don was employed by Ernst & Young and Deloitte as a Senior Manager. He commenced his own practice in 1991 and WalterTurnbull in 1992. He commenced Walter Partners after WalterTurnbull was acquired by PwC in 2010. Don is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, a former councilor and Chairman of the ACT Division of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a former councillor of the NSW State Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a former national Director of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. 

Don’s experience is predominantly in the fields of audit and assurance, governance, probity, costing, financial viability, risk analysis and financial services. He has worked on a wide range of clients in both the public, private and community sectors.

Karen Eaton is a Chartered Accountant who commenced her career in commercial accounting. Karen moved into public practice and consulting in 2000, gaining experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining the Walter Partners team in 2012.
Karen has experience in management accounting, financial analysis, internal and external audit, costing and financial viability reviews. Her clients have included NSW government agencies, Commonwealth Government agencies, public companies, large proprietary companies and many not for profit organisations.
